ONGARD Service Center

Oil and Natural Gas Administration and Revenue Database (ONGARD) service center was established by Senate Bill SB339 – “ONGARD System Development Act” during the 1990 New Mexico Legislative Session. The bill contained a Joint Powers Agreement which combined the oil and gas data of three New Mexico state government agencies: the New Mexico State Land Office (SLO); the Taxation and Revenue Department (TRD); and the Oil Conservation Division of the Energy Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD-OCD). The ONGARD systems tracks oil and gas production, taxes, and royalties in a relational database. It provides the most accurate information to date about statewide oil and natural gas production, royalties, and taxes.

ONGARD makes available an online filing system for oil and gas taxes and royalty reporting for companies operating in the State of New Mexico. Also available are online reports for the data collected by ONGARD.
