2026 CSV Template - Following the rollout of the pre-submission calculation tool a few years ago, we saw a significant improvement in return quality. Building on that success, we have expanded the tool's capabilities to identify and correct additional common reporting errors before submission.
These reporting errors may result in required Prior Period Adjustments (PPAs) or potential audit findings. Our goal is to ensure we receive high-quality returns that meet reporting requirements from the outset while maximizing efficiency and productivity for both your team and ours.
As a reminder, this tool is intended for use on new sales and rebook lines only. It is not recommended for backout or reversal lines. RMD requires backout/reversal lines to match the original historical reporting. If the historical reporting contains errors, that is acceptable, provided the rebook line complies with current reporting requirements and does not generate any new errors.

REPORTERS USE and REPORTERS REF - During our 2025 Industry Training, many of you requested the ability to view the REPORTERS USE and REPORTERS REF columns in the Royalty Reported Detail History report — and we’re excited to share that this feature is now available!
We encourage remitters to use these columns in their CSV submissions to include the property name or other helpful reference details. Previously, once the file was submitted, that information was no longer visible.
Now, those columns are included in your Royalty Reported Detail History, giving you better visibility and recordkeeping.
